Veterinary industry staff and groups are able to submit and manage their classifieds free of charge.

This section allows you to submit and manage your own classifieds. Submitting, viewing, editing and deleting your own ads is just a mouse click away. To submit or manage classifieds you will need to be logged in to Provet Online.

Your classified must be directly related to the veterinary industry and include contact details in the body of the classified. If a classified does not include contact details, we will add your supplied information to your classified.

All classifieds are reviewed and subject to approval by Provet during office hours. Please allow a minimum of 1 business day for your classified to be approved.

Provet Classifieds are a free service and Provet reserves the right to reject a submitted classified for any reason.

Veterinary Nurse

Murdoch University is home to the only Veterinary School in Western Australia, and its prestigious teaching hospital provides the clinical facility that enables students to have the clinical ‘hands-on’ opportunity. It also provides a service to community through its team of top specialists who oversee the care and treatment of all animals referred to the Hospital.

The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University (TAHMU) aims to provide an environment where high professional and clinical standards, based on available scientific evidence, are tempered with genuine care and compassion.

The Role

The key purpose of this role is to provide high quality veterinary nursing care to animals in The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University.

 

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Completion of a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, or completion of a relevant Veterinary Nursing Diploma level qualification registrable in Western Australia.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a veterinary practice, post qualification.
  • Experience in large animal veterinary nursing care, with demonstrated skill when handling and restraining large animals.
  • Highly effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to interact constructively and collaboratively with the public and staff at all levels of the organisation.
  • Current Western Australian Driver’s License.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a veterinary teaching hospital environment.
  • Experience and knowledge in the use and care of endoscopes.
